Augustine George Chemparathy

Hi there! I'm Augustine, a fourth year medical student at Stanford University. I completed my B.S. in Computer Science and Bioengineering at Stanford University and my M.S. in Management Science and Engineering, also at Stanford.

I studied genetic variants modifying risk of dementia as part of Michael Greicius's group in the Stanford Department of Neurology. I worked as a Research Associate studying CRISPR/Cas in Stanley Qi's group in Stanford Bioengineering. I also worked at Systems Utilization Research for Stanford Medicine to use data science to improve medical care. I previously interned at Arbor Biotechnologies, where I applied machine learning to predict Cas effector function.

I love science fiction, and my favorite books are The Fountains of Paradise and Rendezvous with Rama. Email me with sci-fi recommendations.
